A reissue of the 1303, one of the earliest solidbody guitars.
In 1954, Silvertone introduced one of the first solidbody guitars which, by 1958, had evolved into the 1303 model. The 1303/U2 Reissue has all the vibe and twang of the original with some significant modern upgrades. A thru-body bridge delivers strong attack and a hefty tone while an improved neck is coupled to the body with a neck joint system designed for enhanced sustain. Equipped with Lipstick single-coil pickups, the Silvertone solidbody electric provides vintage sound and style with all the modern adjustment options you could want.
