Rhythm Tech pioneered the original and much imitated Hat Trick 15 years ago, a simple Hi-Hat tambourine that gave drummers a way to play tambourine patterns with their hi-hat pedal. The improved Hat Trick G2 features a unique Quick Release Knob that makes it fast and easy to put on and take off of the Hi-Hat pull rod.

The RT7423 G2 has a double row of brass jingles offering even more volume and spread. What’s the difference between nickel and brass jingles? Well, nickel jingles are brighter-sounding than brass and tend to cut through the music a bit better while brass jingles are lower-pitched, with a bit more color in their sound.

Topping off the list of G2 added features is the super strong polymer frame. Having a lightweight frame keeps the Hat Trick light and responsive to help focus the sound where it needs to be; on the famous Rhythm Tech nickel jingles which gives it its classic Rhythm Tech sound.
