The IRT-STUDIO is not just a tube pre-amp – it is a full 3 channel with pre-boost, all-tube IRONHEART amp in a 2u rack. Loaded with a pair of EL84 output valves the IRT-STUDIO generates either 15 watts or less than 1-watt RMS of pure valve tone. The IRT-Studio features the same great IRONHEART tube tones as the bigger heads in a low-power, lightweight, portable EL84 all-tube package with some neat features added. The IRT-STUDIO features a USB Audio I/O and a RE-AMP send jack. Plug it straight into your PC/MAC or iPad and get pure tube tone directly into your digital world. The IRT-STUDIO is the ultimate in portable amps and is supplied with a dedicated 4-way footswitch. Use it in the studio, at rehearsal or on the road!
Internal Dummy Load
In order to let you operate your tube amplifier silently we have included an internal dummy load. This means that you can use your amplifier without the need to connect an external load (speaker) to it, without fear of damaging your amplifier.
T-USB
The T-USB interface supplies both a dry signal and the processed signal – split left and right to your DAW – directly into either your PC/MAC or iPad*.
Re-amp
A re-amp socket works in conjunction with the T-USB feature on an amp and allows the original dry (left channel) signal to be re-routed back through the pre-amp and be sonically altered.
Selectable Power 15 watts or Less than 1 watt
Allows you to drive the output stage of the amplifier harder at reduced output levels should you need to use the unit in situations where full volume is not appropriate.
